Trainee Health and Safety Advisor

About the role of a Traineee HSE Officer

We're recruiting for a Trainee Health and Safety Officer to work in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas. The role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate, someone who has a keen interest in health and safety or keeping people safe whilst at work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out risk assessments and adhering to CDM regulations.
• Working alongside the HSE team, by supporting the senior team to ensure standards are kept high.
• Working in the Social Housing sector, you'll be ensuring the health and safety of the sites is compliant to company procedures.
• Carrying out checks that Health and Safety is being adhered to correctly on site.

Requirements

• Basic Health and Safety Knowledge on Construction Sites
• An interest in Health and Safety / Keeping people safe
• Own transport - mileage can be discussed
