Job Description
The Role - Trainee Dental Nurse at Angle House

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse who wants to be part of the Angle House Highgate success story. This role may be split between our two practices, Angle House Highgate and Angle House Crouch End, offering you a varied and dynamic working environment.

You'll work closely with our clinical team, supporting patient care and assisting with a range of procedures while developing the skills and knowledge required to qualify as a Dental Nurse. Our team will guide you throughout your training, ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

As we are a specialist orthodontic practice, you will gain valuable exposure to orthodontics. To complete your Record of Experience (RoE), you may also be required to travel to other practice locations to gain a broader range of clinical experience.

Key duties:
  • Support the clinical team with chairside assistance during dental procedures (within trainee scope)

  • Maintain clean, safe, and sterile clinical environments in line with health and safety regulations

  • Assist with patient care and ensure a positive patient experience

  • Prepare and manage instruments, materials, and equipment

  • Maintain accurate patient records as directed

  • Support stock control and general practice organisation

  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice

  • Participate in training and development to successfully complete your qualification

Requirements:
  • Enrolled on or willing to enrol onto a Dental Nursing course

  • Strong interest in starting a career in dentistry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills

  • Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

  • Flexibility to travel to other locations if required for training (RoE completion)
