Monday to Thursday - 8.00am - 4.30pm and 1.00pm finish on Fridays

Temporary to Permanent

£12.21 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Cable Harness Technician to join our client based in Swindon.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the assembly of cable harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires
• Learning to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
• Supporting testing and quality checks on completed assemblies
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high quality standards
• Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

The ideal candidate will:

• Have good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Be reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Have an interest in electronics, engineering, or manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written processes, work instructions, and job documentation
• Excellent communication skills
