Trainee Bus Driver

Salary & Training

Salary £29,900 after the initial training period. Pay rate during training: £13.50 per hour (training lasts 6-8 weeks). Annual earnings of £29,919 following completion of training based on 39 hours per week as a qualified bus driver. Shift patterns include early, middle and late shifts, with weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Earn while you learn - we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Complete industry leading training, secure your PCV licence, and undertake ongoing CPC training and professional development as part of the Level2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.
• Drive the fleet safely, smoothly, and confidently.
• Ensure every customer enjoys a great journey by delivering top notch customer service.
• Create a welcoming environment where customers feel respected, cared for, and looked after, especially those who rely on us most.
• Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Be 18years old or older.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK with the required residency status.
• Patient, safe, and courteous approach to driving and customer interaction.
• Positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team.
