We are offering the successful candidatethe opportunity to undertake a 2 year (part-time) fully funded AdvancedClinical Practice Msc programme (Health and Social Care) at a MastercallHealthcare designated university. During training you will also work clinicallyunder the indirect supervision of Mastercall Senior Advanced Practitioners andConsultant AP (Nurse). You will be responsible for, assessing, diagnosing,interpreting investigations, and treating undifferentiated and undiagnosedpatients across Mastercall services. On successful completion of training, youwill undertake the role of Advanced Practitioner across Mastercall Serviceswith preceptorship support in the first year.
Applicants will be a Registered Nurse,Midwife or Allied Health Professional with significant experience in emergency,unscheduled or urgent care (equivalent of five years post registrationexperience) as a practitioner assessing and managing undifferentiated andundiagnosed patients. A practitioner with a first degree, or evidence that theycan study at Masters level (Level 7) would be preferred and a prescribingqualification is essential. Applicants must also be able to evidence Level 2functional skills in Maths and English.
Permanent position workingbetween 30 and 37.5 hours per week across 7 days dependant on service needs.

- Significant experience of working in an unscheduled care or ED setting
- Experience of working as an autonomous practitioner in an unscheduled care or ED setting
- Able to assess, diagnose and create a management plan for an undifferentiated minor illness or injury independently.
- Significant evidence of continuing professional development and application to practice within the last 12 months.
- Understanding of the Advanced Practitioner role, and responsibilities as well as appropriate legal frameworks and the Multi professional Advanced Practice Framework
- Understanding and application of healthcare governance
- Up to date knowledge of health agenda (local and national)
- Current NMC or HCPC registered health professional
- Evidence of post graduate study at level 6 or 7
- Be able to evidence Level 2 Maths and Functional English (University requirement
- Willingness to successfully complete the Msc Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship programme at Mastercalls nominated university with the expectation that on successful completion the post holder will move to a qualified ACP role.
