As anexperienced Traffic Management Operative, you will be required towork on Traffic Management Schemes for a range of projects, helpingthem to run smoothly and efficiently to achieve maximum productionin a working day, whilst maintaining a high Health and Safetystandard. This role requires flexibility due to the nature of thebusiness. You must be able to work both days and nights, includingsome weekends as required. You must have a can do and responsibleattitude to work.

KeyResponsibilities
We are looking forsomeone to:
- Oversee all methods of traffic management; Give and take,Priority, Stop/Go boards, Portable traffic signals, Convoy working,Road closures, Lane closures and diversions
- Ensure all work is carried out according to safe workingmethods and best practice procedures
- Carry outrisk assessments and method statements on works involving trafficmanagement
- Ensure that all activitiesassociated with the job are carried out according to laid downprocedures where possible. Identify areas that can be improved andreport to your line manager
- Ensure that dailyvehicle checks are carried out - to ensure cleanliness and tidinessof vehicle and the safety of the driver and passenger
- Promote positive company image whilst at work (viawearing of company clothing, attitude, and sitecleanliness)
- Demonstrate initiative byconstantly looking to see where improvements can be made
- Assist the public, directing them through safe site lineswhen required
- Ascertain when managementintervention is required
Experienceand Qualifications
- Lantra12d accreditation as a minimum TTMBC, 12d (M1-M5)
- Lantra 12 a/b accreditation, IPV driver, foremanadvantageous
- Provide evidence that youunderstand the differences between Chapter 8 and the Safety atStreet Works and Road Works (red book) and how theseapply
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Be able to read and understand CAD drawings, in relationto the works required
- Preferable to havemechanical ability in relation to Traffic Lights
