Job Description
Our Traffic and Parking team plays a vital role in shaping a safer, more efficient road network through the design and delivery of impactful transport and parking schemes.
We manage a diverse portfolio of projects-from pedestrian crossings and controlled parking zones to traffic signal junctions and local safety improvements. Each initiative contributes to enhancing mobility and safety for residents and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of traffic and parking schemes under the guidance of the Principal Engineer.
- Assist in preparing detailed construction design packages for a variety of traffic engineering projects.
- Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes
- Ensure filing and drawing schedules are kept up to date
- Contribute to consultations and project implementation across the borough.
- Undertake site visits and measurements as required
- Understanding of traffic and parking design principles.
- Some experience in preliminary design of traffic engineering schemes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Familiarity with KeySigns and KeyLines is desirable.
