Job Description
Overview

The Racing Trader will be responsible for accurately trading horse racing prices in a manner that aligns with individual brand strategies and propositions while ensuring competitiveness is maintained. This role involves contributing to the pricing and strategic development of customer propositions, using data to inform pricing strategies and risk management decisions, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diverse Technical Skillset: Transition seamlessly between different tasks, shifts, and responsibilities within the racing team.
  • Pricing Accuracy: Accurately trade horse racing prices aligned with brand strategies while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Customer Proposition: Contribute to pricing and strategic development of propositions offered to customers.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to inform and review pricing strategies and risk management decisions.
  • Reporting: Analyse and report on trading performance, interpreting data to make actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and brands to understand impact and determine next actions.

  • Compliance: Ensure all trading activity complies with regulatory and responsible gambling policies.
