This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, highly motivated & team orientated individual to progress within the Company as a Toolroom Engineer.

As a Toolroom Engineer, you will be working as a member of the toolroom team reporting to the Team Leader on their shift.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of multi-cavity injection moulds.
  • Refurbishment and modification to existing mould tools.
  • Measuring / testing and equipment.
  • Assisting production / development areas as required.
Qualifications
  • Confident and clear communicator.
  • Strong team ethos.
  • Well organised and can take a methodical approach.
  • Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Good work ethic and attendance record.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced work environment.
  • General machining skills (turning, milling and grinding) fitting and a basic practical knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and CNC machines.
  • NVQ 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification and completed a time served apprenticeship within a similar environment.

Working a rotating 2 shift pattern 7 - 15.00 & 15.00 - 23.00 hours, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the option to work Saturday mornings.
