Job Description
About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Tool Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering team in Huntingdon. This is a hands on role focused on ensuring extrusion tooling is maintained to the highest standard to support safe, efficient and repeatable production.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain, repair and modify extrusion tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures.
  • Ensure tooling is optimised, available and production ready.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and engineering improvements.
  • Support new tooling from commissioning through to production start up.
  • Record tooling settings, history and data within the Tool Room database.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams.
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S activity and safe working practices.
About You
  • Level3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) with 3+ years' experience.
  • Previous experience in a Toolmaking or machining environment.
  • Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D tooling drawings.
  • Hands on experience with lathes, milling, drilling, grinding and similar equipment.
  • Experience within extrusion manufacturing (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
