Position: Bank Theatre Porter (Fixed Term, Part Time)
Location: Newcastle Hospital
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Pay: £12.84 per hour

Responsibilities

• Be part of a close knit professional team in the theatre.
• Collect and return patients to their individual rooms before and after surgery.
• Work with colleagues to ensure that the theatre environment and equipment are fully functional.
• Assist with cleaning of the theatre environment and equipment.
• Maintain constant and effective communication with the theatre team.
• Support patients, helping them feel relaxed and reassured throughout the surgical process.

Requirements

Good communication skills and friendly attitude.

Physically able to lift and move equipment, push beds and assist patients.

Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
