The Friday Agency is a full-service brand building communications agency that embodies the "Friday feeling." Since our launch in July 2020, we have represented some of the most dynamic, established, and emerging brands in the beauty, lifestyle, and wellness sectors.

We are seeking an ambitious, connected, creative, hardworking, and organized Account Manager with at least 3 years of experience in beauty communications to join our team. The successful candidate will manage clients, provide counsel, and develop standout strategies. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management & Relations:
    • Serve as the primary contact for clients alongside the Account Director.
    • Lead client meetings and calls confidently.
    • Maintain and develop good client relationships.
    • Update clients regularly on activities.
    • Secure press and influencer coverage.
    • Write engaging media materials highlighting trends and features.
    • Organize brainstorms for creative ideas.
    • Manage product/brand launches, including mailing lists, press releases, and e-blasts.
  • Team Management:
    • Oversee work by the Account Executive and Press Assistant, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
    • Lead team meetings, motivate the team, and monitor performance.
    • Ensure administrative duties are completed professionally and timely.
  • Strategic & Creative Development:
    • Advise clients on PR and marketing campaigns.
    • Assist with strategy planning and implement brand campaigns, partnerships, and events.
    • Develop creative pitches and feature ideas.
    • Innovate in mailers and audience engagement strategies.
  • Media & Influencer Relations:
    • Engage with media, content creators, and KOLs to build relationships.
    • Expand relationships across press, influencers, makeup artists, and stylists.
    • Support paid partnerships as needed.
    • Identify media coverage opportunities.
  • Event Management:
    • Coordinate brand events, launches, press trips, and dinners.
    • Provide updates and post-event reports to stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Support weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
    • Analyze coverage and prepare reports for clients.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and G Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to various environments.
  • High organization and attention to detail with a positive attitude.
