Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook Thai food such as curries, stir-fries, soups, noodles, and salads.
  • Follow recipes and maintain authentic Thai flavours and presentation.
  • Prepare ingredients (cutting vegetables, marinating meats, making sauces and pastes).
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion sizes.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
  • Manage stock levels and report ingredient shortages.
  • Store food correctly to prevent contamination.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Assist in creating new menu items and specials.
  • Minimise food waste and control costs.
  • Ensure customer dietary requirements and allergies are properly handled.
Skills Required
  • Knowledge of traditional Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Good time management and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
