Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Prepare and cook Thai food such as curries, stir-fries, soups, noodles, and salads.
- Follow recipes and maintain authentic Thai flavours and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients (cutting vegetables, marinating meats, making sauces and pastes).
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion sizes.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organised.
- Manage stock levels and report ingredient shortages.
- Store food correctly to prevent contamination.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required.
- Assist in creating new menu items and specials.
- Minimise food waste and control costs.
- Ensure customer dietary requirements and allergies are properly handled.
- Knowledge of traditional Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Good time management and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of food safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
