Job Posting: JR101715 Testing Coordinator & Access Assistant (Open) Department: Student Disability Resource Center, PM Position Type: Regular Open Date: 03-05-2026 Close Date: $22.41 - $23.98 Job Description: Job Summary This position Testing Coordinator & Access Assistant provides coordinated, administrative, and student-facing support within the Office of Access & Accommodations. This role manages essential office operations while coordinating testing accommodations for students with disabilities. The position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal disability law and advancing equitable access to academic programs and services. Authority and Accountability This position reports to the Director of the Office of Access & Accommodations with no direct reports. This position does not have budgetary responsibility. This position will exercise professional judgment in applying legal standards, best practices, and institutional guidelines. This position will refer complex or high-risk cases to supervisory and/or senior staff as appropriate. Required/Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GEDEXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience providing administrative support.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:General knowledge of and skill in the practical application of generally accepted office practices and procedures. Ability to communicate effective both orally and in writing. Ability to proofread and edit written documents. Skill in various computer software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation programs, Internet, email and calendaring software. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external parties in a courteous and efficient manner. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute multiple and continuing assignments with general instructions.OTHER:Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications AA degree Knowledge of the ADA, ADA Amendments Act, and Section 504 as applied to higher education.
