Test Manager - Remote - Outside IR35 - C# - Automation - Playwright - Azure Test Plan - Azure DevOps.

I have an urgent need for a test manager on a 6 month basis, the successful candidate must have experience of C# and building automation frameworks from scratch and will be responsible for the following -

1. Test Strategy & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Refine and fine tune our current Test Strategies and Programme Test Plans for industrial automation software (functional, performance, security, and safety testing).
• Lead a team of QA engineers, automation testers, and QA Analysts across multiple projects.

2. Test Planning, Process & Execution

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Take ownership of Integration testing(Offsite, Onsite, E2E, Interface), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing.
• Manage hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing for Automation PLC/Scada systems.

3. Automation & Tooling

• Oversee test automation (UI, API, and protocol-level testing) using Automation tools. Work with Automation Leads and agree with frameworks.
• Look at Performance Testing, NFT, Security Testing aspects of the system and prepare the Test Plans.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Monitor and analyze test results, track defects, and provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
