Test Engineer/Brussels/Hybrid/500 Euros per day

Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent freelance mission for a Test Engineer to join a leading client based in Brussels.

2 days onsite required every week.

The IT Testing Engineer is responsible for IT systems testing management and testing execution (General Information Systems, Websites, Mobile Applications)

You will manage, execute, and follow up on IT testing (ie functional and non-functional testing activities).

You will support customer service acting as Level 3.

Accountabilities:

• IT Testing Engineer will be in charge of managing non-functional testing of IT systems:
• Help establish testing strategy with the Testing Lead/Manager for specific project in scope
• Manage non-functional testing planning
• Set up, design, and execute non-functional or functional test scripts using appropriate testing tools
• Support development/customisation and testing (functional and non-functional) tool deployment
• Support customer services as Level 3

Role Profile:

Specific skills/competences:

• Experience working in the Pharma/Financial industries is a plus
• Knowledge of Computerized Testing Processes and Good Practices (eg ISTQB certification, TMAP)
• Participate in software requirement analysis, design reviews to understand testing requirements
• Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing (manual, performance, API and automation testing framework)
• Able to work following Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Guardian of IT established rules and intends to provide accurate, uniform and high-quality information to the end-users
