A global IT consultancy is looking for a talented and experienced Test Engineer to join their team on a fixed-term contract with the strong potential to transition into a permanent role.

The Opportunity

You'll be embedded in a collaborative development team, supporting the end-to-end testing of a complex enterprise platform. This role is primarily focused on backend logic and ETL processes, ensuring the stability, integrity, and accuracy of critical data flows.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and executing robust test scenarios across backend and ETL layers
• Ensuring broad test coverage and validating both functional and data-handling performance
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies
• Applying analytical thinking to uncover edge cases and system flaws
• Supporting automated and manual testing within Agile environments
• Working closely with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

What You Bring

• 5+ years' experience in backend/system-level test scenario creation in .NET / C# environments
• Hands-on expertise with test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong grasp of QA methodologies and testing best practices
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of ETL/data handling processes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Confidence to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Data-literate and comfortable with complex data structures

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of Murex and Flexcube
• Familiarity with FEC, CDD, or Transaction Monitoring (TM)
