Reporting To: Area Manager
Location: Ireland &Northern Ireland (Territory Based)
Purpose of the RoleThe Territory Sales Representative is responsible for developing andmaintaining strong customer relationships within their assigned territory,promoting the Company's range of machinery and solutions, and achieving agreedsales targets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities,managing existing accounts, providing commercial support to customers, andensuring accurate sales administration through the Company's CRM system.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and sell the Company's machinery, products andservices within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships withexisting customers while actively identifying and securing new businessopportunities.
- Generate sales leads through prospecting, networking,customer visits and market research.
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals,negotiating commercial terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquirythrough to order placement and customer handover.
- Ensure all customer interactions, opportunities and salesactivities are accurately recorded and maintained within the Company's CRMsystem.
- Process customer orders in accordance with Companyprocedures and support the successful delivery of projects.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments,including Technical, Service, Customer Support and Finance, to provide anexcellent customer experience.
- Attend customer meetings, trade exhibitions,networking events and Company meetings as required.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, competitoractivity and the Company's product portfolio through ongoing training anddevelopment.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to theoverall success of the Commercial team.
- Previous experience in a field-based sales or businessdevelopment role.
- Strong negotiation, communication andrelationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify and develop new businessopportunities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively within theassignedterritory .
- Experience within the machinery, manufacturing orengineering sector.
- Experience presenting technical products or solutionsto customers.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
- Professional and confident communicator.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship managementskills.
- Proactive and resilient with a positive attitude.
- Able to work independently whilst contributingeffectively as part of a wider team.
