Part time role, for the 2026/27 academic year initially

Term Time

Term time only (Sep - Mar) approximately 5 hours per week

Salary by negotiation

Most delivery will take place at the Northumberland Club in Jesmond

Responsibilities

• To lead engaging, high quality group coaching sessions to Newcastle University Tennis Club's BUCS squad
• To run trials, pick squads and ranking orders for teams
• To attend key home BUCS fixtures to provide coaching support and identify areas of improvement
• To deliver targeted individual/pairs/small group coaching sessions to supplement the larger squad sessions

Qualifications

• LTA Coach (Level 3) qualification or above with accredited + status
• Ideally the successful candidate should be a current or ex tennis player of a good standard, with experience developing young players at a performance level
