We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Development Team as the Tenancy Training Officer. This role is vital to empowering people across Somerset to build a more stable and independent future.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tenancy training schemes including the Tenant Ready Scheme, ASDAN programmes and the Tenant Accreditation Scheme.
- Provide housing guidance to clients aged 16 and over, helping them make informed choices about their future.
- Collaborate with local partners and deliver flexible, person centred training and support.
- Travel across various sites and properties throughout Somerset to reach clients.
- Maintain accurate training records, reports and client progress data.
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all children and young people.
- Full driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business insurance.
- Ability to carry out a safer recruitment process and be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
- Provide two suitable references.
- Strong safeguarding awareness and commitment to protecting children and young people.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in training or tenancy support is desirable.
