Tenancy Support Worker -Young People

Location: Preston central

Salary: £13.00phr

Shift Times: 09.00-17.00

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Tenancy Support Worker to support young people in maintaining safe, stable, and sustainable accommodation.

In this role, you will work closely with young people to develop the skills and confidence needed for independent living. Your responsibilities will include supporting with housing and benefit applications, helping individuals understand and manage their tenancies, and providing guidance around rent payments, arrears, and setting up realistic repayment plans.

You will also offer practical support with budgeting, ensuring young people can manage their finances effectively and avoid financial difficulties. Building positive, trusting relationships is key, alongside encouraging independence while providing consistent, person-centred support.

It is desirable that you have a working knowledge of the Rubix system, as well as experience supporting vulnerable young people with housing-related needs.

The ideal candidate will be organised, approachable, and resilient, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in housing, support work, or a related field is preferred.
