Job Description

This new post will play a crucial role in implementing the Renters Rights Act 2025 through managing landlord-tenant relationships, focusing on dispute resolution, preventing homelessness, advising on tenancy rights and ensuring housing law compliance, especially in the private rented sector.

The main purpose of the role include;

  • To investigate harassment/illegal evictions and other legal breaches in relation to the private rented sector
  • To conduct property inspections and enforcement activities ensuring that residents can live safely and securely in their homes
  • To work with other teams and agencies to enforce regulations and sustain tenancies.

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of educating including a minimum of five GCSEs including Maths and English (4-9) and A levels or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience in a relevant filed. You should enjoy working with people, want to resolve disputes and solve problems and have a working knowledge of housing legislation including around enforcement and tenancy law.

You will be required to provide a suitable vehicle for this post

This job includes duties that may require a moderate amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis.

Flexible approach to working hours, able to work outside normal office hours if necessary, including a requirement to be available for evening meetings.
