Purpose: Deichmann is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Metro Centre store. You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.91 per hour plus non-contractual, hourly sales commission. At Deichmann, Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. Ideal candidate

Energy, drive and passion to work in a fast paced, customer facing retail environment. A positive attitude towards customer service, the ability to work well within a team, stamina to work on a fast paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.

Key activities

• Approach customers and provide helpful, knowledgeable information on products.
• Serve customers at the till - process sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuously replenish stock to keep shelves full.
• Process stock deliveries promptly.
• Ensure the shop floor is clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.

Salary / Pay

Up to £12.91 per hour plus non contractual, hourly sales commission.
