Express Recruitment are currently supporting a large local organisation, with a busy recruitment period. Our client is looking to recruit a Temporary Procurement Officer to join their team.

The role will involve managing the end-to-end procurement process, including the procurement of goods, works and services. The successful candidate will hold experience in in a similar procurement role and will likely be a CIPS member.

• Assist and lead on the procurement and tender process of goods and services
• Ensure the full procurement process is managed and delivered
• Produce contract recommendation reports for awarding contracts
• Deliver expert advice to colleagues in all aspects of contract management
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Skills & Experience

• Procurement experience is essential
• Relevant CIPS member or willingness to become a member
• Experience of supporting supplier performance reviews
• Proficient In all Microsoft office packages
• Confident managing ad prioritising a heavy workload
