Temporary EYFS Teaching Assistant - Nursery

We are looking for a caring and nurturing Teaching Assistant, to support our wonderful children in Nursery until the end of the current school year.

Rosebank Primary School takes children from 2 to 11 years old, we are looking for a caring, patient Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with pupils in Early Years.

Main Details

It is essential that the successful candidate has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification in Early Years.

The role involves assisting the teacher with developing learning and fostering a warm, nurturing environment where all children can excel.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• be kind and enjoy working with children
• understand how children learn
• be happy to work as part of a team
• have good written and oral communication and numeracy
• be flexible and have the ability to use their initiative
• have high expectations of achievement and behaviour

Working Hours and Salary

We would like someone who would be available to start from 20th April 2026.

This post is temporary until 20th July 2026 only.

35.5hrs (number of hours per week) Term time only plus 5 training days

8:30pm - 3:30pm every day plus one additional 30 minutes either before school or after school each day for preparation.
