Location: Greasley, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £12.75 per hour D.O.E
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Job type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an Aircraft Assembly / Preparation Operative to join a well established manufacturing environment. This is a hands on role involving the preparation of aircraft skins and components, working to detailed processes and quality standards. This role is available to start ASAP on a temp to perm basis.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of aircraft skins, including sealant application and dry fitting rivets prior to riveting
• Deburring aircraft skins using power tools to required standards
• Part marking and over sealing of part markings
• Degreasing aircraft skins in preparation for heat treatment
• Working to drawings, work instructions, and health & safety procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a production operative or manufacturing role
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to quality standards
• Comfortable following processes, instructions, and drawings
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Aerospace experience is not essential - full training will be provided.
