Care homes in Newcastle and surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of care homes, sometimes at short notice.

We have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year-round work available with these.

Day time hours usually 8 to 10 hour shifts.

• Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level with excellent all-round cooking skills and used to working in fast-paced kitchens with fresh produce
• Chefs with DBS checks that have been done in the last year, Food Safety Certificate and have knowledge of IDDSI and dietary requirements
• It is not essential to have your own transport, but it is advantageous

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
