Job Title: Business Support Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Kidderminster
Working Pattern: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business for a Part Time Business Support Administrator to join their team.
This is a varied, hands on role at the heart of the business, supporting across administration, customer service, and office operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the office while delivering a high standard of service to customers, visitors, and internal teams.
The RoleFront of House & Reception
- Be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming experience
- Manage incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately
- Maintain the reception area and support general front of house duties
Customer Service & Order Management
- Process customer orders (full training provided)
- Manage order updates, delivery timelines, and customer communication
- Handle product, pricing, and stock enquiries
- Raise quotations and support day to day customer requests
- Manage proof of delivery (PODs), invoicing, and resolve queries
Commercial & Finance Support
- Assist with customer price lists and system updates
- Support invoicing, payments, and account queries
- Liaise with customers and internal finance teams
Office & Facilities Administration
- Order and manage office supplies across sites
- Maintain filing systems (electronic and paper based)
- Support general office upkeep and site requirements
Health & Safety Support
- Assist with H&S administration, audits, and record keeping
- Support PPE tracking and compliance
- Carry out routine checks including weekly fire alarm testing
Operational & Procurement Support
- Monitor stock levels and support purchasing activities
- Raise purchase orders and track supplier deliveries
- Maintain supplier records and assist with reporting
HR & Marketing Support
- Provide general HR administrative support (confidentially)
- Assist with company events, social media, and internal initiatives
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive, flexible, and willing to get involved across the business
- Confident dealing with customers and stakeholders at all levels
- A team player who can also work independently
