We're looking for a Technology Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and product development within the Retail Media domain at Just Eat

Retail Media drives significant revenue, and this new Data, Insights & Tooling team will lay the foundations for making customer data accessible and actionable-powering segmentation, dashboarding, and data products via our Customer Data Platform (CDP). The team will include analytics engineers, data scientists, and software engineers, working closely with our central Data & Analytics function to enable data activation across the JET ecosystem.

As Technology Manager, you'll lead team culture, delivery, and individual development-ensuring strong performance, technical alignment, and impact.

• Project Delivery: overseeing our agile development processes to ensure efficient workflow, and project deliverables are met on time.

• Communication: provide clear communication to our stakeholders, business leaders and neighbouring teams to ensure that we're aligning our engineering efforts with our business goals.

• Technical roadmap: owning our roadmap, in collaboration with the product manager to ensure we're prioritising the correct work/projects inline with our business objectives.

What will you bring to the table?

• Strong business acumen with the ability to align engineering efforts with company goals, ensuring our technical decisions are driving our businesses success.

• Prior experience as a people manager, with a servant leader mindset - you remove blockers, provide clarity and help the team deliver their best work.

• Having an opinion and not being afraid to challenge our senior leadership with the overall objective of delivering value.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Experience of guiding engineering decisions via influence, rather than by authority.

• Comfort operating in environments with uncertainty and change, particularly when requirements and data are still evolving.

• Previous experience or an understanding of modern data stacks, data modelling and concepts like CDPs, audience segmentation and data activation.
