Technology Innovation Engineer - Signal Processing

Your task

• Understandtechnological situation: able to identify ourtechnology gaps for the mid- long-term product roadmap and proposesolutions to support next product development in collaboration with productmanagers.
• Investigatetechnological ecosystem:
  evaluatestate of the art and the readiness of a specific technology, clarify the competitorsituation, analyze patent portfolio, identify actors like start-ups,institutes and universities.
• Digitalsignal processing:
  identify,develop and test algorithms. Knowledge of standard rule-based and AI basedsignal processing.
• Functionalmodule / prototype development: hands-onmind-set for elaboration of proof of concepts and integration in largersystem.
• Transferand participation to development phase:
  supportour development team for the transfer of the technology into thedevelopment phase, contribute to the optimization of the design forindustrial environment (robustness, serialization, ease of use,modularity, etc).
• Stakeholdercollaboration: work closely with differentdepartments (product managers, sales, service technicians) and globaltechnology centers to understand requirements, ensuring alignment withbusiness objectives.

Your backpack

• Education: Masteror PhD degree in physics, engineering, computer science, or a relatedfield.
• Experience:years of experience in product development with proven record of bringinga product from development to industrialization phase.
• Experience with machinevision is an important advantage
• Skills:
  Stronganalytical skills. Self-driven. Balance between theory and hands-on mindset required. Dare to try and fail.
• Communication: goodverbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts.
