Your Day-to-Day as Tech Manager:
Oversee the full PDI process from booking to workshop sign-off
Allocate daily work and manage shift patterns to maximise ramp usage
Monitor ramp utilisation, fill staffing gaps, and track key performance indicators
Maintain visibility of ramp activity and minimise downtime or idle bays
Coordinate with Parts and Rectification to keep workflow moving
Brief late-shift technicians daily before leaving site
Lead internal performance tracking for PDI productivity and pass rates
What We're Looking For:
Senior workshop / team leader experience in the automotive sector
Strong PDI process and workshop flow knowledge
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and coach technicians
KPI and output tracking skills with a focus on improvement
Full UK driving licence (required)
