Job Description

Your impact

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic installations in both production and logistics.

  • Plan and perform preventive maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime.

  • Think in terms of processes: decipher alarms, spot patterns and launch lasting improvements.

  • Be a key link in the team: work closely with operators and fellow maintenance technicians to keep production running smoothly.

  • Record each intervention accurately and propose optimisations.

What you bring

  • A technical secondary diploma (A2 level) in electromechanics, electricity or mechanics, or comparable hands-on experience.

  • Solid knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; basic control-engineering know-how is a plus.

  • Analytical, creative and resilient under pressure-you get to the root of complex problems fast.

  • Willingness to work shifts and if needed, take part in an on-call rota.

  • A strong safety- and quality-driven mindset; you stay organised even when time is tight.

  • Fluent in Dutch or French and ready to learn the other national language.

What you can expect

  • A multifaceted role with a wide range of technologies and constant challenges.

  • Thorough onboarding and targeted follow-up training (hydraulics, pneumatics, basic PLC).

  • Freedom to contribute your own ideas and put improvements into practice.

  • Competitive salary plus extra-legal benefits (meal vouchers, group insurance, additional ADV leave days).

  • Work-life balance thanks to pre-set shift schedules.

  • Flexible contract: either permanent employment or, depending on experience, a freelance agreement at a market-rate hourly fee.
