About the role
As an SC Cleared Migration Support Technician you will be providing execution of the ELS Refresh Clinic and the role involves hands-on support with device migration, system updates, and inventory management.

Our client is currently looking for a recruit to join their current team. Below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.
Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)
Location: The Barracks - Brecon
Working Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm
Contract Duration: 03rd October 2025 to 21st October 2025
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Clinic Setup: Assist in establishing the Refresh Clinic environment for device migration activities.
- Device Handling: Transport and organise devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as directed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- System Access: Log into systems using designated devices under supervision and instruction.
- Laptop Refresh: Perform laptop refresh procedures according to project specifications.
- Workflow Updates: Accurately update the contractor's workflow management system at each relevant stage.
- Technical Support: Collaborate with the Post Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager for guidance and issue resolution.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all devices are securely stored at the end of each day in accordance with site protocols.
Other stuff we're potentially looking for:
- Must hold active SC clearance.
- Prior experience in IT support, device refresh, or migration projects preferred.
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-security environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
