Technical Team ManagerFull time - Permanent Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 plus bonusAre you an experienced technical leader ready to shape, inspire and develop a high performing team? We're looking for a Technical Team Manager to lead a busy, skilled department and drive excellence across all areas of technical service delivery.The OpportunityIn this role, you will oversee a multi-disciplinary technical function, ensuring the highest standards of service, accuracy and professionalism. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, champion best practice, and play a key part in continuously enhancing processes, systems and technical capabilities across the organisation.This is an ideal position for a confident people leader from a strong technical background, who thrives on coaching teams, improving consistency, and delivering outstanding results in a fast paced environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop a technical services team, ensuring alignment, collaboration and high performance.
  • Oversee day to day operations, setting clear standards and ensuring work is completed to exceptional quality.
  • Coach and mentor team members at all levels, fostering a culture of growth, ownership and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement, reviewing processes and implementing best practice across the department.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure technical standards, compliance and methodologies remain up to date.
  • Support the production of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, drawings and calculations.
  • Analyse departmental metrics and reporting data to support operational and strategic decision?making.
  • Manage complex technical queries, providing guidance and escalation support where required.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution.
