The Role That Will Energise Your CareerAs our Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the tech wizard behind our success! you'll serve as the go-to IT expert, ensuring our talented professionals have seamless technology experiences that enable them to focus on what they do best - delivering world-class economic consultancy.
What you'll Be Doing:- Lead the charge as the primary technology support contact in our vibrant London office
- Expand your reach providing remote technical support across our entire EMEA region
- Master the latest tech configuring, installing, and troubleshooting cutting-edge software applications
- Stay connected supporting mobile devices and ensuring our teams are always linked
- Bring people together with audio/video conferencing and advanced voice systems (Cisco IPT)
- Empower colleagues through software installation support and expert guidance
- Shape the future by training new hires on our innovative IT systems and best practices
- Solve complex challenges using established IT service management processes
- Make your mark maintaining meticulous records and ensuring swift incident resolution
- Be part of the team with occasional out-of-hours support as part of our collaborative rotating schedule
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Professional Background: Minimum 3 years IT support experience in a professional services environment
- Technical Expertise: 2+ years hands-on experience with Active Directory and Windows 10
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services
- Support Tools: Experience with remote support platforms and ticketing systems
- Network Knowledge: Understanding of LAN/WAN connectivity and data communications protocols
- Hardware Mastery: Deep knowledge of PC Workstation and Server hardware/software, including networking interfaces
- Software Savvy: Comprehensive understanding of messaging clients, web browsers, security software, and productivity applications
- Problem-Solving Genius - Outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
