Description
Chronos helps investors, developers, and utilities navigate complex energy storage and RES investments, directly influencing how these assets are deployed across global markets. We are looking for a highly capable Product Manager to join one of our modelling squads, working on the foundational modelling capabilities and methodology behind asset dispatch.
The product here is the model itself - its methodology, its accuracy, and what it is able to represent. Building the application interface sits with other squads; you will partner with them, not work in them.
You will own the roadmap for your product area and be accountable for your squad's mission and which problems the squad takes on to reach it. These are complex projects, and you will have a big role in how your squad executes them - proactively removing risk, testing the riskiest assumptions cheaply before committing build effort, and delivering value incrementally. You will have support from product leadership, your tech lead, and the wider modelling group, but you will be trusted to set direction and defend your decisions without close supervision.
You will develop a deep understanding of storage and RES sector trends and translate them into actionable product requirements, building that understanding first-hand through sustained direct contact with our clients. The successful candidate will be a strong first-principles problem solver, combining strong analytical skills with an evidence-led approach to product decisions and an intrinsic drive to improve team-based outcomes.
