We have partnered with a leading UK insurer to find a Technical Pricing Manager to lead the development and performance of technical pricing models across household, motor, SME and specialty lines. This is a high-profile role with real influence, combining team leadership, model ownership, and senior stakeholder engagement to drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of pricing analysts.
• Own the design, build and monitoring of technical pricing models using GLMs and machine learning.
• Partner with senior underwriting leaders to embed pricing insights into business decisions.
• Oversee pricing model performance, ensuring governance, accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Support innovation with new data sources, cloud technologies and pricing tools.

Qualifications

Ideal for a pricing professional with strong technical and statistical expertise (Excel, SQL, Python, SAS or similar), experience managing analysts, and a track record of delivering pricing models that influence underwriting strategy.
