Do you have 3 years, post qualification experience in either a manufacturing, product testing or laboratory background of household appliances?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality-focused Technical Manager to join our Technical team where you will ensure that all household appliances we bring to market are safe, fit for purpose and are of excellent quality, meeting both internal & external customer requirements. This role is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours per week based at our offices in Hindley Green, Wigan.

- Implementation of the product development launch pipeline, following the required Technical processes for right first time and on time product delivery.
- Advise on product quality improvements & cost saving suggestions and follow these through to implementation with OEM manufacturers.
- Meet all legal compliance standards required and constantly meet customer expectations in relation to the quality of product.
- Monitor and advise on product performance in the market by reviewing/assessing product returns and customer feedback. Produce reports on performance and advise on product improvements.
- Investigate and satisfactorily resolve customer complaints in a timely fashion.
- Monitor & report on supplier performance against defined criteria, to aid supplier selection and ongoing performance measurement.
- 3 years post qualification experience in either a manufacturing, product test or laboratory background of household appliances.
- HNC, BTEC or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have an electrical engineering background: electrician, white goods engineer, etc. Must understand electrics, installations, etc.
