Technical Manager

Location: Sidcup Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (flexibility required)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product specifications and customer platforms
• Maintain temporary spec trackers and due diligence systems
• Investigate complaints and non conformances, driving resolution
• Support QC and deputise in absence of Quality Manager
• Conduct supplier and third party packing site visits
• Maintain technical documentation and approve labelling
• Lead internal audits and ensure GMP compliance
• Manage policy and procedure updates for food safety and quality
• Lead HACCP team and support BRCGS and Red Tractor standards
• Deliver training, maintain records, and lead SMM reporting
• Host external audits (BRCGS, RT, LEAF)
• Drive food safety culture across the site

Requirements

• Fresh produce experience essential (fruit & veg)
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP Level 3, QMS
• Experience with retail customers and specifications
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• IT proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Full UK driving licence required
• Spanish language skills desirable
