Your New JobYou'll report directly to the General Manager and will oversee the daily monitoring of the production process, focusing on meeting all food safety standards. Your proactive approach will help maintain and enhance quality systems and drive ongoing improvements. You'll also lead a dedicated compliance and hygiene team to achieve targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Implement and maintain BRC, HACCP, and GMP systems
- Monitor and report on technical standards, managing corrective actions as required
- Manage corrective and preventative action for customer complaints
- Monitor product quality according to standards, specifications, and recipes
- Oversee the production process following HACCP and Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct raw materials inspections, stock control, and supplier monitoring
- Ensure full traceability compliance
- Lead hygiene staff and maintain standards
- Manage product microbiological testing and ensure legislative compliance
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, customers, and respond to audits
- Oversee factory compliance staff
- Third level qualification (Degree) in a relevant Science discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role within the food sector
- Strong technical expertise
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision making skills

- Exceptional organisational, planning, and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and awareness of quality standards
