Technical Documentation Specialist

• Good working knowledge of Sharepoint

M4 an IT Delivery Practice is a forward thinking and fast-growing SME with an established UK client base. As the next stage in our expansion plan, we require the services of a Technical Documentation Specialist to help support service deployment with one of our clients.

We are seeking a technically savvy individual with a wide technical and solutions exposure to join one of our ongoing projects within the UK Government. You will have some systems and business analysis skills supported by excellent documentation and communication skills. Coupled with the afore mentioned you will likely have general domain experience in areas such as networks, WiFi, telecommunications (fixed & mobile), audio/visual systems, and user focussed end-user applications.

This is a very varied role working pro-actively across the organisation with stakeholders at all levels, you will be responsible for supporting

• the analysis of existing and new services from low level prototype/design through to technical specifications
• the analysis of service and process wrappers
• the review and/or production of end-user documentation for set-up, administration, user etc

The scope of work will include the review and updating of existing documentation sets and developing co-laterals to fill any identified gaps. You will also be required to gain approval and sign-off of said documentation sets, support the documentation of new service propositions from idea through to realisation, and to participate in the development and implementation of processes and governance to ensure the on-going review, update, and approval of these artifacts.

We are looking for more than just a Technical Author, if this job hits your sweet spot, then you in all likelihood have a Systems Analysis/Solutions Architect background BUT also have fantastic written English and technical diagram design skills .if you are still reading and still interested then we would love to hear from you.
