Job Title: Technical Detailer in Structural Steel
Working Week: 4.5 Days (Half Day Friday)
Location: Killygordon, Co Donegal
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Mc Menamin Engineering Ltd is a family-owned businesses with 40 years' experience in Structural Steel Fabrication, based in the outskirts of Killygordon, Co Donegal. We are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Detailer to join our growing engineering and fabrication team. This role will involve preparing structural steel shop drawings and erection drawings for a variety of construction projects.
Applications are welcome from experienced detailers as well as graduates or junior engineers who want to develop a career in structural steel detailing.

- Produce shop drawings for fabrication and erection drawings for site installation
- Detail structural steel including beams, columns, stairs, handrails, trusses and decking
- Interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings
- Work closely with engineers, architects, contractors and fabrication teams to support project management and ensure drawings are coordinated and delivered on schedule
- Manage drawing revisions and approvals
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and industry standards
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or practical experience
- Experience in Steel Detailing/Tekla is an advantage (training available)
- Strong organisational, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
