This is a brand-new position, created to support the new High Security division within our business.

What You'll Do
As our Technical Designer (CAD), you'll play a central role in designing high-spec, multi-disciplined security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarms, from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop accurate and detailed technical designs using AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related design tools.
- Prepare wiring schematics, electrical block diagrams, and layout plans.
- Liaise directly with clients and attend design review meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date drawing registers and project documentation.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Stay current with industry certifications and support accreditations.
- Promote the business and contribute to future opportunities.
What We're Looking For
You'll be a strong fit if you have:
- Proven experience in the utilities or security sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM 360, and other CAD/CFD design tools.
- A solid understanding of technical schematics, electrical layouts, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing meetings.
