Job Description
As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing after-sales service activities for rotating equipment within the Benelux region. You will focus on developing long-term client relationships, expanding service contracts, and driving sales of repairs, spare parts, and upgrades.Your tasks will include:
  • Managing sales activities for steam turbines, gas turbines, and screw compressors
  • Driving growth strategies and managing sales pipelines within your territory
  • Acting as the main contact for technical service inquiries from customers
  • Preparing quotations and coordinating with internal product experts
  • Independently negotiating service agreements and contracts
  • Developing new business opportunities and registering product usage at customer sites
  • Providing regular input for sales forecasting and budget planning
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams across operations and engineering
  • Visiting clients regularly within the region
  • Representing the company at industry events or client meetings when required

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or commercial field/oil and gas background
  • 1-3 years of experience in turbomachinery or rotating equipment sales/service
  • Open for students or young proffesionals/ fresh graduates
  • Strong communicator and confident negotiator
  • Commercially driven, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented
  • Experience with long sales cycles and managing client accounts
  • Comfortable working both independently and in teams
  • Comfortable with travelling for work (cca 10% of the role)
  • Living in the Rotterdam area (this is a must)
  • Dutch driver's license (Category B) is required
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required; German is a plus
  • Living in the greater Rotterdam area and willing to travel regularly
  • Due to frequent international travel and the need for work authorization across EU countries, only candidates with unrestricted EU work and travel rights can be considered
