Technical Architect

What we are looking for

• Senior Technical Architect for a design only engagement
• Focused on technical design and documentation to enable later build by a developer squad
• SC clearance required
• Strong public sector background, ideally central government, law enforcement or courts

Role focus

• Act as technical design authority across the programme
• Define the target architecture covering data, applications, integrations and AI components
• Ensure technical coherence across multiple, interdependent workstreams

Key activities

• Produce core technical design artefacts including architecture documentation, data models, integration design and non functional requirements
• Define data ingestion, governance and assurance approach, including RAG content considerations
• Shape the technical design for AI enabled capabilities such as case selection, transcription and an assistant tool
• Identify technical assumptions, dependencies and constraints and ensure these are reflected in requirements and backlog items
• Provide architectural assurance through Alpha and input into Beta readiness recommendations

• Comfortable operating independently with minimal direction
• Able to self manage, prioritise and take ownership in a sensitive environment
