THE ROLE

As Technical Account Manager, you'll own the full technical lifecycle of live events - from taking client enquiries and shaping proposals, to technical planning and on site delivery. A key part of the role is using your technical expertise to support sales conversations, ensuring every client receives solutions that are both creatively impressive and technically robust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading technical planning and execution for live events
  • Acting as the main technical contact for clients, venues, and suppliers
  • Taking and qualifying client enquiries, advising on technical feasibility and creative approaches
  • Applying technical knowledge when building proposals, ensuring solutions meet client needs and budgets
  • Working closely with internal teams to convert enquiries, contributing to the wider sales pipeline and maintaining ongoing client accounts
  • Creating technical drawings and layouts using CAD/Vectorworks (or similar)
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
  • Mentoring junior team members and freelancers
THE CANDIDATE

As Technical Account Manager, you'll bring strong experience in technical production and a solid understanding of live event delivery. You'll combine excellent organisational skills with confident communication, enabling you to translate complex technical information into clear, client-friendly proposals, successfully converting new business for the company. You'll have experience creating proposals, managing budgets, enjoy working collaboratively, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, hands on environment.
