Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

As Team PA Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of Team PA duties across our Private Client Group. You'll oversee complex administrative tasks, support team leaders, coordinate client facing processes, and contribute to the efficiency of legal proceedings. You'll act as an escalation point for fee earners, clients, and internal support teams, championing operational excellence and client service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the delivery of Team PA services, ensuring high standards of administrative support.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing Team PAs to foster a collaborative, high performing, and client focused culture.
  • Managing and improving client facing and internal administrative processes to support smooth legal matters and team operations.
  • Acting as a key point of contact and escalation for fee earners, clients, and internal support teams, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Championing the adoption of new tools and technologies, driving continuous improvement and modern ways of working.
  • Promoting a culture of exceptional client service, ensuring all administrative support contributes positively to the client experience.
  • Collaborating with department heads to understand business needs and align Team PA support accordingly.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality and consistency of Team PA outputs, ensuring compliance with firm standards and procedures.
  • Coordinating PA resource allocation to meet business demands, ensuring coverage and efficiency across teams.
  • Identifying opportunities for operational enhancements and leading initiatives that improve team effectiveness and service delivery.
About You
  • Experience and an understanding of administrative duties within the legal sector.
  • Experience in a leadership role, or demonstrable leadership skills are essential
  • A team player with integrity, diplomacy, and a commitment to quality.
  • Able to work on your own initiative, with strong problem solving skills.
  • Skilled in building effective working relationships and communicating clearly.
  • Detail oriented, with excellent time management, organisation, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Professional in both telephone and face to face interactions.
  • Able to work under pressure and with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experienced in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a professional environment.
  • Familiar with firm policies, expense systems, and financial approvals (desirable).
  • Passionate about driving innovation, adopting new tools, and fostering a supportive, empowering environment for your team.
