Overview

Locum opportunity for a Team Manager in the Children & Families Team in Exeter.
Duration: 3 months.
Rate: up to £47.50 per hour.
Location: on-site at County Hall, Exeter, at least three days per week.
There is a focus on implementing a restorative practice approach to foster, maintain, and repair relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Children & Families Team to deliver high-quality social care services.
• Implement and embed the restorative practice approach to support relationship-building with children and families.
• Provide mentorship and support to social workers, fostering professional growth within the team.
• Take responsibility for safeguarding and court-related tasks ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for families.
• Monitor and review the performance of the team, set strategic goals, and drive positive changes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Team Manager in safeguarding and court work.
• Ability to manage team development with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with restorative practice approaches is desirable.
• Willingness to be on-site at County Hall, Exeter, for at least three days per week.
