Responsibilities- Managing a team of ML Data Associates.
- Execute plans for the team to handle multiple ML queues within a defined process area.
- Identify risks and ensure proper escalation; maintain confidentiality and compliance.
- Responsible for meeting SLAs and task completion targets for specific queues within capacity limits.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve business goals.
- Analyze data to highlight trends and gaps; report key metrics.
- Present data during business meetings and reviews.
- Design and implement process improvement projects affecting team performance; participate in new workflow rollout projects.
- Provide guidance on work types and prioritization; manage straightforward objectives as well as ad hoc requests.
- Create and implement performance improvement plans for associates; offer regular coaching and feedback on quality, performance, behavior, and career development.
- Manage team performance based on metrics and deliverables.
- Hold team members accountable for performance, adherence to rules, and guidelines.
- Support hiring and training of new Associates.
- Manage & monitor performance on job or queue adherence, volume, and quality.
- Support hiring and training of new Associates.
- Ensure productivity is maximized through supervision, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.
- Track quality and utilization metrics.
- Provide regular, formal & informal feedback to direct reports.
- Identify and help implement process-related improvement using methodologies.
- Communicate effectively.
Artificial General Intelligence Data Services (AGI DS) mission is to provide high-quality labelled data at high-speed and low-cost for machine learning (ML) technologies.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor Degree (Any Stream) or advanced college education or experience in a Leadership or related position with management.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in understanding performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators.
- Overall 4+ yrs of work experience of which, minimum 1+ yrs of people management experience.
- Must have driven process improvements in the current role.
- Experience with process improvement/quality control tools and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse talent within a team, work cross-functionally, and build consensus on difficult issues.
- Excellent communication, strong organizational skills and very detail-oriented.
- Strong interest in hiring and developing people in their respective roles.
- Leadership experience in coaching and performance management.
- Experience in managing process and operational escalations.
- Experience with aspects of speech and language technology.
