Team leader head of watersports

Overview

As Head of Watersports, you will take responsibility for the day to day running of watersports activities, ensuring safe, engaging and well organised sessions. You will lead by example, support and mentor instructors, and help maintain high standards across all watersports delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising the watersports team
• Delivering high quality, safe and enjoyable watersports sessions
• Overseeing equipment, safety procedures and risk assessments
• Supporting staff training, mentoring and development
• Ensuring excellent standards of instruction and customer experience

Qualifications

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• Sea Kayak Leader
• RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor & Paddlesport Leader
• RYA Level 2 or Core Coach

You should also have:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A proactive, responsible approach to safety and supervision
• A passion for watersports and developing others
• The ability to work as part of a wider centre leadership team
